The 8th Annual Information Technology & Telecommunication Conference
The 8th Annual IT&T Conference will be held in Galway at the Galway-Mayo
Institute of Technology, Galway, Ireland, on Thursday 23rd and Friday
24th October 2008.
The conference welcomes technical research papers concerned with the
broad scope of Virtual Systems and Digital Convergence in a Knowledge
Society. Papers are invited on, but are not limited to, the following
themes:
- Elearning technologies
- Speech, Language and Vision Processing
- Web 2.0 and Semantic Web
- Games and Entertainment
- Ubiquituous and Distributed Computing
- Security and Forensics
- Digital Signal Processing
- Data Warehousing and Information Quality
- Network Management and Planning
- Software Engineering
- Digital Convergence
- BioInformatics
- Wired and Wireless Networks
- Virtual Machines
- Virtual Communities
Authors are requested to submit papers of 6 to 8 pages (maximum 10) and
posters of 4 pages maximum by 31st July 2008. Registration of papers
will be open from 1st May 2008.
Details of full submission guidelines along with templates can be found
on the conference website at http://www.ittconference.ie. N.B. Papers
not following the guidelines will be rejected.
Key dates:
- Receipt of papers and posters: 31st July 2008
- Acceptance notification: 10th September 2008
- Receipt of camera-ready: 30th September 2008
